Second Skin:Second skin is essentially a clear bandaid that is recommended to stay on for about 3-5 days. Excess ink, blood and plasma may build up and create an ink sack which is completely normal! If you notice fluid leaking out of the second skin, please remove it immediately. The best way to remove second skin is in the shower and by pulling it downwards like a command strip. From here on you’ll proceed with aftercare.Cling Wrap:Leave the cling wrap on for about an hour or until you get home, then remove it, wash it gently with non-fragrant soap and proceed with aftercare. Your tattoo may leak so be careful with staining!Aftercare:Wash your tattoo 2-3 times a day with a gentle non-fragrant soap, then pat dry and apply a light layer of aftercare cream such as Dr Pickles or anything without fragrance that is not heavy/thick! Don’t put too much as this can also cause infections.Your tattoo may scab, flake and get itchy. Please don’t peel or scratch! If you find the skin around it getting really hot, red and painful, or if there’s any pus, please get it checked out by a doctor ASAP!! Infections are no joke.It’s best to determine if you need a touch up after it’s fully healed (about 4+ weeks later) as a healing tattoo can look a bit crazy.
Booking Policies + Info
Thank you for your interest in my work! This round I’ll be prioritising flash and customs that align with my interests and large scale work. Most of my tattoos take about 1.5-3 hours, but larger and more detailed pieces may take 4-7 hours.The minimum charge is $200. Anything that takes more than 1 hour will be priced according to my hourly.I charge an hourly of $170 (not including breaks and stenciling), and a flat rate of $1000 for full day sessions (11am-7pm).*UPDATED flash pricing guide (February 2025):Flash will be priced according to my hourly, with a 10% discount on the final cost, regardless of the size, detail and placement of the tattoo.For example:
A tattoo that takes 4 hours will be $680 ($170 p/hr) and a 10% discount will be applied, so the final cost will be $610 (I’m happy to round to the nearest 10 or 5).This ensures I don’t severely undercharge myself while also giving you a discounted piece!I will still honour the price of flash posted before this update.If you have a budget please let me know and I will do my best to work something out with you!I am located at Kaya Garden Tattoo, Dulwich Hill.
- Please consider my art style before you book with me! I specialize in black and grey. Take a good look at my Instagram and make sure it's what you want on you forever!- I don’t do full colour pieces, but I’m open to adding small bits of colour (pink blush in a face, for example)- A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to book an appointment. This is a combined drawing+booking fee and will come off the total cost of your tattoo. Canceling/rescheduling an appointment in less than 48 hours will forfeit your deposit, and you will need to send a new deposit to rebook.- Flash are NOT considered claimed until you have sent a deposit. Please be aware that other people may be interested in claiming the same design and may claim it before you! I do not reserve designs.- When prompted for a deposit, please send it through within 48 hours. If you haven’t done this in time then I may give away your slot to someone else.- Cash is preferred, EFTPOS is available but there is a 10% surcharge.- I recommend you bring extra cash in case you want your tattoo to be bigger, want extra details etc.- Please come no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment! It’s better to come right on time rather than having to wait in the waiting room as this can clog up space.- Body parts I won’t tattoo (as of right now): neck, face, hands + fingers, ears. Exceptions can be made for very simple designs, but this is up to my discretion.- Some flash are repeatable and some are a one off. (Check availabilities on Instagram!) If a flash you like is already taken, I can design you a similar one, just mention it when you message me :)- I am happy to provide a silent service, set up a privacy screen or any other requests, just let me know!- I highly recommend you bring a form of entertainment (headphones, a book, video games etc.) to distract you and to avoid boredom as I may be hyper focused and unable to keep up with conversation (I def love a good chat though!)- Please avoid having plans after your tattoo appointment as to not rush me (slow and steady = good tattoo!); breaks and sudden incidents are unpredictable.- Please bring your ID and eat a good meal before your appointment.- Please don't drink alcohol or do illicit drugs before your appointment!- Wear clothing that can allow me to access the tattoo area easily.
Custom Design Info
I am open to custom designs as long as it's within my style, capabilities and interests! I have a preference for designs involving female/femme portraits and characters, kawaii aesthetics, creatures, horror/spooky themes, sanrio, some anime, "fairycore" and "cottagecore" aesthetics, all done in black and grey (small bits of colour is fine too, but I don’t do full colour pieces).Please be very descriptive when booking in a custom, and send through as many references as you can when prompted.If I feel your idea may not be doable, please don’t take it to heart! I only want the best for you and your tattoo and I would hate to give you something I’m not confident in. If I deny your idea, I may refer you to other artists.All pieces will be shown the day of your appointment. I don’t share designs prior to the appointment to avoid theft. I spare plenty of time for any changes, but please note large alterations may incur a drawing fee.
